We started Kindergarten because we did not want our youngest students to be a smaller version of a bigger school. They deserve a place designed entirely for them.
Children settle and learn when the world around them is consistent. Our day flows in steady rhythms, our spaces are clear and unhurried, and every adult on campus is trained in early-childhood development.
We follow play-based, inquiry-led practice rooted in EYFS — extended with bilingual circle time and structured pre-literacy from Reception.
Founded in 2014 as Ather's first division, our Kindergarten has graduated more than 600 children into Primary — many of whom remain with us through Grade 12.
Class sizes are capped at 16, with a 1:8 adult-to-child ratio. That has never changed and it never will.

Staggered settling weeks in September. Joint sessions with Primary Year 1 teachers in May for our outgoing class.
Visits are by appointment, in small groups, with the Kindergarten Head.
