Ather Secondary School

A serious place for serious work.

Secondary is where ambition turns into a plan. We protect the conditions that make hard, beautiful work possible: small classes, expert teachers, and a culture that takes ideas seriously.

Our mission

Rigor, in service of a life.

We offer IB Diploma and A-Level pathways, taught by department leads who hold advanced degrees in their subjects. Our students choose pathways that match the universities — and the lives — they want.

The work is hard. The support is steady. The outcomes speak for themselves.

Our standards

The benchmarks we publish every year.

  • 96% of graduates accepted to a first- or second-choice university.
  • $4.2M in merit-based scholarships secured by the Class of 2025.
  • Average IB Diploma score: 38 (global average: 30).
  • 1:9 student-to-faculty ratio across Grades 7–12.
What guides us

Three commitments to every Secondary family.

Every student knows their counsellor.

Each student is paired with a university counsellor from Grade 9 — the same person until graduation.

Every student has a project.

An independent capstone in Grade 11 — research, art, engineering, or social — supervised by a faculty mentor.

Every student is heard.

Termly student-faculty council sets the school agenda alongside the Head's office.

Come spend a morning with us.

Prospective Grade 9 and 11 students are invited to shadow a current student for a full day.
